What exactly does GetInsuranceWebsite build for an insurance agency?
A fully managed website built to start quote requests: a page for every line of business you write, a page for every carrier you hold appointments with, a quote request form per line that asks only what a producer needs to open a quote, and the whole thing pushed into your AMS or CRM. We design it, write it, host it, update it every week and keep it fast. You pick one of three plans, Single Line, Multi-Line or Agency Book, and nobody at the agency ever logs in to fix anything.
How fast can the agency site go live?
Single Line launches in 7 days, Multi-Line in 10 days and Agency Book in 15 days, counted from the onboarding call. The clock depends on you giving us your lines of business, carrier appointments, license numbers by state and the questions each carrier needs to start a quote. Most agencies gather that in an afternoon. The site goes live on your domain the moment you approve it, and only then is the build fee invoiced.
How do quote requests reach my AMS or CRM?
Every quote request form posts straight into the system your producers already work in, by API, Zapier or Make. EZLynx, HawkSoft, AMS360, Applied Epic, GoHighLevel, HubSpot and plain email all work. Each submission arrives tagged with the line of business and the page it came from, so a commercial auto request lands with your commercial producer and a homeowners request lands with personal lines. Nothing sits in a web inbox waiting for someone to remember to check it.
Do you give insurance advice or quote coverage on the site?
No. GetInsuranceWebsite is a website design and management company. We are not an insurance agency, broker, carrier or licensed producer, and nothing we build quotes coverage, rates or eligibility. The site collects the information a producer needs and hands it to your licensed team. Every page carries the disclaimer wording you supply for your states, and any question about what a policy covers is routed to a person at the agency rather than answered by the website.
What is the difference between Single Line, Multi-Line and Agency Book?
Single Line is the website, fully managed, with quote forms for the lines you write. Multi-Line adds the AI Engine: an AI receptionist for the phone, chat on the site, SMS, Messenger and Instagram agents, and a call analysis PDF after every call. Agency Book adds the Content Engine on top: 3 researched articles a week instead of 2, 3 social image posts and 2 reels a week, and your Google Business Profile managed. Launch days step from 7 to 10 to 15.
What does it cost, and when do I pay?
You pay the monthly fee for your plan up front: $127 for Single Line, $267 plus AI usage for Multi-Line, or $647 for Agency Book. The $697 one-time build fee is invoiced only after the site is live and you have approved it. There is no deposit, no hourly billing and no hosting line item. If you cancel before the build starts, the build fee is never charged.
Can I cancel, and what do I keep?
Yes, by email, and the notice needs to reach us at least 2 business days before your next invoice date, during business hours of 9:00 to 17:00 Central, Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. A message sent outside those hours counts from the start of the next business day, so a note sent over the weekend does not give 2 business days of notice ahead of a Monday or Tuesday invoice, and the next invoice is charged. With proper notice, the site stays live and managed to the end of the paid month, and you keep your domain, every article we wrote for you and an export of your content, delivered within 14 days. All sales are final: the build fee, once paid, is not refunded, and neither is the current month. There is no contract term and no separate cancellation fee.
Are refunds available if I am not happy with the site?
All sales are final. We do not refund a monthly fee, the build fee or an extra revision for a change of mind or because the service stopped being used. The one exception is a duplicate or incorrect charge caused by an error in our own billing, which we correct in full when you report it within 30 days. That is also why the build fee is invoiced only after you have seen the live site and approved it, rather than up front.
How is AI usage billed on Multi-Line and Agency Book?
Monthly in arrears, at cost, on the same invoice as the plan. Usage is the phone minutes, messages and text volume the AI Engine actually handles, plus the A2P 10DLC carrier fee passed through once at registration. The plan fee of $267 or $647 is billed in advance as normal. You see usage broken out every month, and if you want a cap we set one so the agents stop before it is passed.
What happens right after I sign up?
You fill in the onboarding form at getinsurancewebsite.com/onboarding: your lines of business, carrier appointments, license numbers by state, producers, towns you serve and the CRM or AMS you use. It takes about 15 minutes. Anything you do not have to hand yet can follow later by email or as a ticket in your client portal, so a missing detail never holds up the build. Next comes one onboarding call to walk through your answers and fill any gaps, then we build.
What is the client portal, and when do I get one?
Every client gets a client portal account the day the site goes live. From it you request revisions, raise a support ticket for anything that needs attention, send us files, and message the team directly, so revisions are logged in one place rather than scattered across emails. You never need to log in to the website itself, since the site remains fully managed by us.
What counts as a revision, and what happens after five?
A revision is any change request you send, with no limit on how much goes into it. Adding a new carrier appointment, swapping a producer photo, updating a coverage page after a carrier changes its appetite, or rewriting the homeowners form all count as one each. 5 are included every month. After that each additional revision is a flat $20, never hourly. Every revision is completed within 2 to 5 working days.
What are the weekly updates, and do I have to send them?
Weekly updates are the small changes we make without being asked: a new carrier logo when you gain an appointment, a producer added to the team page, opening hours around a holiday, a renewal reminder banner in the weeks before a big block of policies renews. You can send us anything, but we also read your emails and ask on a short monthly check-in. They are separate from revisions and do not count against your 5 a month.
How quickly are changes made once I send them?
Within 2 to 5 working days of us having everything we need. A carrier logo swap or a license number correction usually goes out the same day. A new line of business page with its own quote form sits at the longer end because we write the copy and build the form fields around what that carrier asks for. You get an email when the change is live, with the link, so you can check it on your phone.
Do I get a domain, or can I use the one I already have?
Either. If you need a domain, it is free for as long as your plan is active: we register it through Cloudflare Registrar or Spaceship, in the agency's name, and you own it from day one. If you already have a domain, we point it at the new site instead and nothing about your email changes. On cancellation the domain stays yours and we hand over the registrar login. We never register a domain in our own name.
Will my email stop working when the domain moves?
No. We change only the web records for your domain and leave the mail records alone, so Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or whatever your agency uses keeps running. Before we touch anything we take a copy of the current DNS and check the mail records, and we make the switch at a quiet time. If anything looks off we roll back within minutes.
What kind of articles do you write for an insurance agency?
Answer-first articles on the questions your prospects search before they ask for a quote: what a homeowners deductible does at claim time, how commercial auto differs from a personal policy, what a certificate of insurance is, why a renewal went up. Each is 2,500 to 3,200 words, researched, and cites its sources. They explain general concepts and never tell a reader what to buy. You review the topics, and anything that drifts toward advice is rewritten or dropped.
How many articles a week, and who checks them?
Single Line and Multi-Line get 2 researched articles a week. Agency Book gets 3. We draft them, check every figure against a cited source, and send you a short summary before they publish. You or a producer can ask for changes or veto any article. Articles carry a general information disclaimer and are never attributed to a licensed producer at the agency unless that producer has written or approved the piece.
Can articles be tailored to my state and my carriers?
Yes. Articles are written around the states you are licensed in and the lines you write, so a Florida agency gets pieces on wind mitigation and a Texas agency gets pieces on hail claims. We name carriers only when you hold an appointment and only in ways their marketing rules allow. If a carrier changes its appetite or leaves your state, we update or remove the article that mentions it as part of the weekly update work.
